Tutoring sessions take place in the child’s home to ensure their comfort and engagement in the sessions. 

Before they begin, targets will be discussed and agreed with all parties at the Initial Meeting.  Once these are identified, I will put together an individual lesson plan based on what I know of the child’s learning style, strengths and interests as well as their needs. Each session provides further information for me to then adapt the learning for the next session.

Initial Meeting

This is an opportunity to meet before any tutoring starts and to discuss the student’s needs as well as any targets to work towards. 

The benefit of this meeting is to gain an understanding of the student’s needs so we can get started with learning straight away in our first session.  

This meeting needs to occur before any tutoring can take place so we can discuss timings that suit all parties in person as well as targets.
